Why I am Buying Real Estate Right Now

We don’t just sell Lake LBJ real estate but we are also actively investing in real estate ourselves.  You know there is a famous quote from Warren Buffet that says ” Be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful”.  I am personally on the hunt right now for some quality real estate because I believe there is a lot of opportunity out there right now in the marketplace.  Here are a few reasons why why:

-Higher interest rates means there are less buyers shopping in the local real estate market

-The off-season (cold weather) typically brings about Great Deals as less buyers are out looking and properties aren’t as fun to own when the weather stinks 

-Personally I’d rather have a tangible piece of real estate with real utility, that has a chance to appreciate, over “dollars” sitting in some digital bank account.  

-Real Estate is an excellent hedge against inflation

-I have always done well investing in real estate and I believe in real estate as a long-term investment
